Do yall reckon its chill if for the USA national study I don't learn about isolationism because it was asked last year. I'll still learn stuff about the new deal even though it was also asked last year BCS its important for any question that talks about the great depression among other things. Also do you reckon there could be a question on urbanisation and consumerism BCS it hasn't been asked yet. I would lowkey love that

Yeah my teacher usually makes internal assessment tasks predictions of what it could be and this was our assessment question:

“to what extent was the power struggle between Stalin, Trotsky and other leading Bolshevik figures shaped by ideology”
for a q like this, in relation to 'ideology' do they mean ideological debates or bolshevik ideology ?

Both.

right and left wing regarding NEP and socialism in one country vs international revolution.

thwn you talk about other reasons that exacerbated the struggle

-ideological differences
- political ambition and drive
- party manouvering and manipulation of Stalin regarding NEP
- lack of clear successor in Lenin’s will and testament

why doesnt it test survey?? did ur teacher say to u cos im rlly banking on a survey q
omg my teacher has told us not to worry much about the survey 😭 in my understanding the survey is more for giving context behind everything that went down in the focus of study, like the primer that goes underneath the foundation for makeup lol

any civil rights predictions?? xx

kinda ready for anything but I'm thinking maybe a freedom rides question??? thoughts?
based on what they haven't asked in a while:
  • efforts of Martin Luther King to achieve change for African Americans
  • opposition to the civil rights movement: the Ku Klux Klan, the White Citizens’Council
  • Montgomery Bus Boycott 1955-1956
  • Freedom Rides 1961
  • March on Washington 1963
  • the nature of social and political change
  • the significance of legislative change
my guesses are a question about opposition (3 marks), question about one of the key events (4 marks), q about martin luther king (8 marks), and then something like social and political change (10 marks) but i'm just spitballing of course
