For political I'd maybe mention how Lenin focused on practical approaches to running the country more than ideology, which resulted in Stalin adopting "socialism in one country" idea

I'd focus more on the Kulaks honestly, you can talk about the importance they had in future econmic policy's like collectivization. especially during the 'scissor crisis' Kulaks pretty had control over agricultural production and just hoarded grain, which resulted in famines and stuff. Which eventually resulted in the dekulakisation and grain collection detachments

I'd focus more on the Kulaks honestly, you can talk about the importance they had in future econmic policy's like collectivization. especially during the 'scissor crisis' Kulaks pretty had control over agricultural production and just hoarded grain, which resulted in famines and stuff. also talk about the bourgeious class thing (if thats howw you spell it) and proabably the deivation from ideology in consolidating pwoer (for political) with socialism in one country and nep and brest litovks
