??? why would that matter?

i cant decide if its ragebait i think it might be

its so nonsensical to say 'have you been there' like if i went there what would you or me be able to do to get an answer here?

in case anyone is actually wondering, there is a serious problem in Oman

Being to Dubai does not make a sliver of a difference when confirming whether they use "slavery" or not. I have been to Dubai multiple times and haven't seen anything bad going on there, but why should I be seeing those things anyway? slavery and such do not occur around those developed parts International workers are being overused there and when they try to return to their country, their visas and whatnot get denied as shown in multiple documentaries. Just admit Dubai and countries in the Middle East have problems, but don't make a fool out of yourself by saying "oh but you haven't been there". I love Dubai and multiple countries in the Middle East, but this doesn't mean just because you like something you don't acknowledge its problems.

Every country has its problems but that doesn't mean it should lead us to having a bad opinion on it. Just acknowledge it and move on its as simple as that instead of creating a whole argument or ragebaiting, it doesn't not prove your point and is not worthwhile.

I haven't just been there, I have literally spoken to these construction workers while they were building my houses there. Although from a Western standpoint, it may look like they get no money at all and have tough living conditions they have many protections from UAE law and earn 5x the amount they would back in their village, maybe in other GCC countries they get treated harshly or get their passport taken which I know is true for KSA but at least not in the UAE.

just because they earn 5x more doesn't account for the poor standards they go through, international workers are not treated as well as domestic ones, this is a known fact and there is so much evidence about it that there is no point of denying it doesn't occur.

Speaking of the Middle East, what’s everyone’s thoughts on the Albanese Government denying Qatar Airways additional capacity into Australia?

there is much evidence in the other GCC countries and old stuff from the UAE it has been pretty well reformed by the MoHRE in the UAE, what on earth are you saying the international construction workers don't get treated as well when you will never find an Emirati construction worker in the first place.
