Will ANU increase my ATAR by 5 points as long as I get a Band 5 or above in English Advanced? (1 Viewer)

I had an ANU program as one of my preferences with a minimum ATAR of 90. My ATAR estimates here and elsewhere place me just on that 90 borderline so getting something like 89.95 will be really devastating. However I stumbled upon this link which said as long as you achieve a Band 5 or higher in English Advanced, you will get 5 “adjustment points” which could take my “selection rank” to 94-95. Just confirming whether I’m understanding this correctly and if this is true??

Most likely yes if this is coming from the official uni. I think every university does this for almost all their degrees (apart from more competitive ones such as Medicine) so this is true
