UNSW gateway course pref (1 Viewer)

If we got an offer thru gateway do we still need to put it as first preference in our UAC application? I swear I can't find anything about it in their offer letter but some people are saying we need to

i actually emailed unsw about this in like june because i wanted to go for the mysydney program, you do not!! this is what they said:

"The Gateway Portal, to submit your application for the Gateway Admission Pathway, is completely independent of the regular UAC preference system. This means you do not have to preference the 2 degrees you select in your application within UAC at all."

ofc this was june so it might have changed, but as far as i am currently aware, you should be free to preference a different course/uni through uac
