how come they didn't give you 1st place with a 100 in math advanced? were you not first place for the assessment mark?

No I was only ranked 4th internally and got 99 as my internal mark
But my working was good so that bumped me up to 6.

rip... this is one example where going to a low ranked dumb school is better. Your cohort (knox) dragged you down because the school thought they were smarter. IF you went to a low ranked school, you would defintely keep your mark (since you defintely would be first).

Yes maybe but with ATAR being the end goal, being at a high ranked school still helped me out a lot.

woah dude congrats on the .95
how much time did you spend on english per week or so?
and how much of that time was spent writing drafts?
tips for each module of english?
what was the split for your time spent on mx1 vs mx2? same with phys/chem
were there any subjects apart from german that you applied a radically different approach to? if so, what was it?
again big congrats to you bro, those marks are crazy...

If u could go back in time and do the hsc again what would u do differently?

And also what was ur atar goal before and how did u exceed it or not exceed it
uh i was jk but if i did the hsc again i would probably build a better relationship with my teachers, i think that’s super important. especially english teachers as they can help you lots (i struggled a lot with english)

i didn’t do that during y11 and only started to do it during year 12

my atar goal was 99 but gradually reduced to 95 as i sat my hsc exams 😭
