Hey,

I just wanted to know the difficulty of the chem mods. I've done mod 1 already and found that relatively easy and also have nearly finished mod 2 which isn't any harder (just more calculations). However, as for mod 3 I am unsure.

I appreciate the help.

thanks,

mod 3 easiest mod and mod 2 and 4 most relevant to year 12 as well as the last syllabus dot point from mod 1

Galvanic cells in mod 3 is REALLY annoying but luckily it’s not in the hsc I don’t think

mod 4 is hardest and then mod 3 which is so annoying cause you have galvanic cells

idk I felt mod 1 was kinda hard because they would give a rule and only applied to max 2 chemicals but in mod 3 it was just memorising the reaction series
yeah i also found mod 1 harder for the same reason. i really enjoyed mod 3, it made a lot of sense and was really interesting once you got the hang of things but mod 1 was harder to grasp and i think it's also harder to teach bc the logic has to click otherwise it's confusing.

yh i kinda agree with that. It was easier for me cause that understanding stage was much quicker but mod 2 took a bit more time but was also relatively fine once i got the hang of it. just gotta wait and see for mod 3 and 4 tho by the sounds of it

Personally, I found mod 5.5 the hardest. I'm actually on the NESA board of directors in the process of releasing the next chem syllabus. I will sell it to you for $50!! Don't tell anyone!

More like bored of nesa directors.
How would you get on the nesa board if you only just graduated with a 68 atar though?
