Your not cooked lmao. Im going to sit it this year in July and I've only started prep now. (Fyi I'm about to start uni as well so its even more work for me)
6 months is plenty... My friend got around 3200 with only two months of preparation.
Use either medify or medentry. I'm using medentry cos most of my friends that used it seemed to get high scores- and its cheaper. U can get a 10% discount here:
So it costs like $310.5 if u get the essentials package (what I got- its more than enough imo)
U cant 'study' for the ucat since its all about skills/aptitude. You prepare for it by honing on specific skills such as comprehension, decision making, reasoning, quick mental maths etc and practicing them repetitively. Think of it as learning to ride a bike. u dont get it on the get go, it takes time and practice to get the hang of it. ~Theres more of this with actual videos once u purchase the essentials package on medentry.
Ive got a timetable of my routine etc but it includes some other stuff. Basically, everyday dedicate 1hr - 1.5hrs to UCAT practice (mock subtests, practice questions, video tutorials) and every 2-3 days do a full mock exam (which is 2hrs) - so for me, I do full mock exams on Wednesday and Sunday. Consistency is key.

I divide my day like this:
8:30 - 11:00 morning session (by 8:30 I mean fully awake etc. start around 9 - 9:30)
2:30pm - 3:15pm Afternoon session: UCAT review (Go through wrong answers and record them/redo etc)
~ 9:00pm - 9:30pm night session: MMI/interview prep

That's my holiday schedule. It'll prolly change once uni starts but I'm being more intensive now since I have the time. If I'm not doing UCAT prep, I'm doing pre-work/study for uni subjects or practicing my instruments. (or eating)

tbh my daily life is like a bot and I barely touch grass now but its either 40°C or raining outside so...
But thats my study plan/timetable sketched in general terms
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!! GOOD LUCK WITH YOURS :)

Is it too late to consider UCAT?🤣
no, some ppl start 3 weeks before and do fine. but don't do it if you're just considering it bc 90% of ppl doing it mean business (some start prepping a whole year in advance, there are the more insane ones that start in year 10 as well). this is not something you can like "give a shot" or smth bc ppl work their ass off and get mid scores so i would not take it lightly.

the process of getting into undergrad med is not easy and should not be a tentative decision. do it if you actually care about med and are committed to investing the expensive cost of prep and the effort of getting the atar necessary to even be considered.

if you start now it's not impossible but make sure you do it for the right reasons
