1. no not really, especially compared to my other subjects bc I'm more english/art-y
2. likely not, if I walked into the trial now, I would completely bomb it fs, especially bc I tend to struggle with time on math exams
3. prolly not, the problem is that I lack a lot of the foundational knowledge bc I was at a really really shitty school beforehand, and so basically missed all of year 10 maths

I like math i swear i just struggle to keep up with ext1 bc most of the class takes ext2 and the teacher is so fast and I literally have no time to study in it while doing major works and english

huh. No I meant that the eng prelims at my school are 3 hrs. But since this is urfirst 3 hr exam then u obv didn't have a 3hr English prelim

istg math adv is so annoying bc its not that hard to comprehend, just easy to make mistakes in and there's so many ppl who do it so its really competitive

Yes!! My teachers always emphasise this, ur mark may be shit but remember even people at the top selective schools averages are low and that just results in everyone being scaled up due to difficulty. Obvs I suggest still trying but if it’s too time consuming you have the ability to drop so no stress

Yeah me too literally everything I’ve done for English is a days worth of prep and I feel like remembering quotes effect context and some overall idea is better than memorising an essay u probs will struggle to adapt

literallyyyyy, like my teacher said that ppl who memorise and regurgitate the exact same essay get like a band 5 tops, bc the markers can tell when you've memorised and not adapted it well

im lowkey just considering bombing this exam and then locking in for the hsc, like i have no plans to sacrifice my ext2 english mark and speaking assessment for the ext1 trial bc I know the time would be better spent working on those
