I hope it's imaginative, I have no idea how to write a good section 1 essayI feel like section one will be like those essay questions. They haven’t done it in a while I think.
And section two questions are always pretty straightforward anyways.
Honestly same.I hope it's imaginative, I have no idea how to write a good section 1 essay![]()
Esp. for a 10 marker what our teacher taught us is that you essentially bring in an essay loaded with literary theory which shows like an understanding of the purpose or value of literary values and you leave gaps in that to link in the unseen texts. Like my 10 mark structure is:Help I've never even practised a section 1 essay I just assumed it was always imaginative/discursive![]()
I mean they had a reflection last year so maybe not?idk if anyones mentioned it yet but whats the chance that section 1 will have a reflection involved???
that would fill my heart with joyI reckon like 90% chance we're getting a 10/15 Critical / Creative split with unseen texts they haven't done it since 2019
the catholic trial papers were this too methinksI reckon like 90% chance we're getting a 10/15 Critical / Creative split with unseen texts they haven't done it since 2019
You need to have 2 prescribed texts minimum only + a related text for the electives module.wait guys are they allowed to ask you to write about 3 prescribed texts in elective essay
a film is a completely valid text. films are good because form is implicit in analysis and also signifies contextual evolutions. be sure to use FILM techniques as opposed to analysing the things that characters say... because that detracts from discussion of formIs a film as a related text okay? Or do the markers usually consider films as less academic than written texts?
