im doing 4 in each but I cant tell if il get penalised for that cos what if they say its not a 'complete essay'
I guess if you're spending more time on explaining and analysing in depth, it would make up for it. like your paragraphs would take up like 2 1/2 exam pages each so they know your intention was to have two and not that you ran out of time.

If your response sounds complete, then they won't mark down on that.

any thoughts on mod b eliot and what the extract might be? what should be plan of attack if the extract is a poem i haven't prepared for???? can i just integrate them thematically linking with existing paragraphs? I've heard that it can't specify a poem without an extract because the syllabus has changed since

guys how are we meant to approach mod A question if its an extract 💔
My slightly botched approach is to pick a related quote for each para to use as supporting evidence for my already established argument. Pray tell the question isn't specifically referencing the nature of the extract else imma be not very happy (same for mod b).

you gotta just try and integrate it thematically. mod a extract is just purely chance tbh if it goes into ur thing or not and if they want to make it very specific. Mod B extract is probs easier to integrate but u kinda have to have the poem as a para cause i don't imagine markers are gonna be very lenient. tho if there two mod a and mod b extracts surely mod c would be like easy as. surely.

ugh thats what my logic is bc they CANNOT make all 3 mods difficult

all i want is a 15 or above for mod c :(
tbf if they made two extracts this year for mod a and b (selected poem) this year and still made reading comp hard, doing anything to mod c would just make scaling go crazy, although I haven't seen any like insane deviations in terms of difficulty from nesa before.

hoping scaling goes crazy this year wonder why it was not so good last year, according to the database previous years about 85 guaranteed you a band 6 but it went up to 87

last yr had fine reading comp, general common mod, general mod a, general mod b, only problem was mod c so scaling was never going to be insane. I think that our reading comp has been harder, common mod question the same (although probs worst cause people just prepared paradoxes, anomalies, inconsistencies) and then if they make paper 2 harder, then yeh there will be good scaling.
