woah, thats a super impressive WAM !!! also, are trimesters really as bad as everyone says?
thankyouu !! trimesters arent that bad, they are fs overhated and they make the school transition a bit easier as they are similar to the 4 term system. its just that some courses feel that they havent been fully adapted to the trimester system so some topics feel rushed. apart from that, its fine, u just dont get matching holidays

also if it gets to that point, id probs be desperate and do it anyways but for questions where it tells u not to do any further working out and draw the graph or smth from what you have alr worked out, will you just not get the marks if u have to use more working out to do the Qn?

Do you know anything about WSU engineering?
its not amazing, lower atar requirement so of course not as competitive. i wouldnt recommend any universities other than unsw, newcastle, or usyd in nsw for engineering. wsu doesnt offer the easy + PAID internships that the others offer. wsu also doesnt provide the industry connections that the other unis offer (unsw is best for industry conns)

bruh ofc i want to go to uni i just dont know what i want to spend the rest of my life doing
like i aint tolerating this hsc bs for NOTHING
you can always switch degrees but ofc keep in mind time + $$ 🥲 like ace said, research after hsc!! look into the uni's descriptions of the degrees, lol thats what I loved doing with the unsw website. and dont stress there are soo many ppl ik going through this as well, including me im not even 100% set on what I want to do, I just know the things I'm passionate about and certain fields

its very diverse, first year you learn everything from pure maths to electrical circuits and group design. it's hard, but engineering is such a well-respected degree that you can transfer into pretty much anything you want with a half-decent WAM.

u can also do many jobs that arent engineering with an engineering degree, for example, my WAM is currenly 90 and if i keep that up i would 100% get recruited by an investment bank at my graduation time. companies want people with engineering degrees for business positions since they tend to be more analytical. engo is a very flexible degree
ur just amazing 😍 wow
