i thought we came to a conclusion? centrelink, get a j*b, uni accommodation (get like 1000 roommates so its cheap) etc. if ur parents are straight up chasing u around with knives and ur about to die at any moment u could probs try get some homeless child housing program thing where it's like cheap. like im sure that exists.

They are not doing that but threatening similar. I am eligible for a housing program, I've found, however I'm regarding it as a last resort.

Well hi, it’s my first post here. I’m in the same situation as you and so are two of my friends, we are thinking of renting together.

I’m in Year 10 and only just realised we might be cooked so I did some research. One of my friends is only a PR and not citizen, does this mean they cannot get a student loan?

It also doesn’t help that I want to go into vetmed which is very costly
Should I just give that dream up atp? And is there anything I should do in the next two years while I still can

There's no point in moving out... you're not in the UK or USA where you would be the anomaly if you stay home for university.
Save the housing market (and ur own wallet) for people who actually need a roof.
