Hello,
I have an upcoming Business Report Exam (in class 45 minutes writing time + 5 minutes planning time) and it is on Nature of Business, specifically Roles of businesses, types of businesses, influences on the business cycle and business growth and decline (only first syllabus dot point of it)

I want to know how to properly study for this and my teacher says it mimics a HSC Style Business Report. I am not used to dealing with unseen stimulus. Can you guys give me some tips and recs?

so basically u have the title which is ‘business report for (business name)’.
Then for the executive summary
- Name and prime function of the business
● Reference to recent events that prompted the need for a business report
● Reference to parts of the question

Then for each body paragraph u have a heading one for each question. U can also have subheadings. For these paragraphs u just apply ur theory knowledge to the business scenario and answer the questions.

Then for the conclusion u sum up everything


For the unseen stuff you've gotta use ur knowledge on the business topic and find the relevant syllabus dot points that u need to talk about to answer the questions and stuff u have to answer in the business report. And then answer it in relation to the context of the stimulus they give. I can send u a slideshow if u want

I go to a top 200ish school. What did ur teacher say? But if it's supposed to mimic a hsc style one then it should be pretty similar to the hsc ones all schools do

Here's an eg of a hsc one. For the body paragraphs I would have one on each dot point down below. Then u can have subheadings to break down ur points for each dot point. I have one from my prelim which I can send to u when I get home.
