    It's because the trials are a very large portion of your internal mark. And I believe your external mark is moderated according to your internal rank, so therefore, your trial would impact on your externals; and thus people would credit it with more importance.

    I'd say nothing actually, it's more or less the same course; since prelim 2u is tested in the HSC exams.

    English as a subject; yes. But the subject needs a dramatic restructuring. I understand how essays help in life, but the way you go about them; techniques etc, I think needs to be changed. As well as the nigh impossible times.

    You really have to be organised. If you're one of those people who are more than capable of coping with the subject, but are lazy/disorganised, then you should probably really change your schedule if you want to do well. The teachers practically don't help you with anything, they just send you...
