I'm not sure if this is true, but my maths teacher told us that to sort out the rankings, they have a look at your working at that sort of thing. When a number of people are tied at the top (logically, it would happen alot), they might see if someone used a cleverer method or got a more...
Seems.. unfair somehow that the 3U kids get to be rounded up, whereas we don't. So then a 3U student who got 97 gets the same mark of 49 as a 3U student who got 98?
Strange question and I wasn't quite sure where to put it, but is it actually possible to get 'odd' marks for 3U? I mean, 97/100 if you're a four unit student would be 48.5/50 if you're a three unit student, and I though you could only get whole number marks? How does that work?
You guys make me sad. Very sad. Hoping for the best:
15/15
15/15
15/15
14/15
12/15
13/15
10/15
8/15
= 102
Unfortunately, I have a high stupid mistake ratio, so I'm looking at about a 90.
I'd really like a band E4; is it possible with a 90, do you guys reckon?
I hated it at the time when people told me that years 7-10 didn't matter. And it's really obvious now that they don't. But my advice would be to actually study in year 11, merely because then you're in the habit of having a good work ethic. At my school, a lot of people have really tried to...
For all you people saying '8 pages' etc., how many words do you think that would actually be, about?
I'm a special provisions kid, and I typed 3,750 words total, which I think would have been about 1,100 module A, 1,300 for B and C.
I drew the reactants as well, figuring that because it was an equilibrium, they're still there in the 'products mixture'.... Hopefully I don't lose marks for that.
I talked about an environmental chemist testing for turbidity, common ions, nutrients etc. in water... I was making it up, so hopefully I'll get some marks...
