    What to combine law with?

I'm currently doing eco/law at sydney and I enjoy it. I do think doing the extra couple of years is worth it, even if you're not going to practise law and intend to go with eco. I think law teaches you a way of thinking which will be beneficial to any job in the corporate or business world and...

OMG What Should I Do? [Cramming]

Calm down and just do things one step at a time. I had the same problem last year and it's amazing how productive you can be when you have very little time left. Stop stress and start studying and you'll probably learn more/get more done in the next 2-3 weeks than you have for the past 6...

    Account for trends

Yes they can - e.g. asking you to explain the reasons for the changes in unemployment in the last few years (i.e. pre, during and after gfc) - and you can talk about how cyclical u/e was almost 0 prior to the gfc etc to explain the 4% u/e rate which was lower than the theoretical NAIRU... etc. etc.

    Please Help

I'm assuming this is a part of the last dotpoint in topic 4 for economics - which requires evaluation of impacts of macroeconomic policies. Essentially this is more of an essay question than a short answer and it is highly highly unlikely that you will be asked an "evaluate" question in short...
