have you thought about other options? Like TAFE, getting one of those certificate thingo's, or some diploma, you could get into uni after getting one of those, but i dont know too much about them.
Just consider ALL options when you're deciding what to do after your hsc.

at uni engineering will be mainly about maths and calculations.
first and second year have a lot of maths and physics involved, so if u dont like it/not good at it then i suggest choose another career path.
maybe science?
what subjects do u do at school?

doing mechanical engineering, unsw, in second year now, but i'll probably be sticking around for 5 years, instead of 4, had to repeat some courses, fucking annoying but meh.
