    Yeah heh i always preferred history too, but it's a subjective thing, there are some that say history is too based on ideas without proof compared to archaeology *shrug*. and yes of course it talks about what the objects mean, theres no use in finding them and then not analysing what they can...

    Anything you learned at school was really basic compared to what you'll do at uni so just pick stuff that sounds interesting to you, there's no point in doing a subject about something you don't care about at all cause you'll end up not paying attention and getting bad marks.

    Re: how does the timetable work? yea seriously, look it up online cause at enrollment they usually have a few handbooks lying around chained to a table so you have to line up for them or they make you trek to the student centre and buy one for like $25 or watever....... what's the point when...

    there's only 30 places a year in that degree (so i've heard), so unlikely you'll get in first time around if you get good enough marks, you can transfer after one year of arts - that's what i did

    higher uai means there's just less spaces and more people who want to do the degree.......

    yea then you could do a masters of museum studies (or diploma or graduate certificate, whichever you prefer) that would set you up for that sort of career

    wow it's only late republic to augustus now? back in 2006 this course covered gracchi to caligula just had jeff tatum for the second year course he taught - great lecturer, will certainly keep you entertained
