Does anyone know if you have to have 48 credit points (USyd) to be able to transfer?
I'd like to try and transfer next semester, but would also like to drop a subject this semester (if I get the transfer I wouldn't continue with senior units in this subject, decided it really isn't for me)
B Economic and Social Sciences (name hasn't changed) and International Studies have both been moved to Arts: http://www.arts.usyd.edu.au/future_students/undergrad/arts.shtml
Interesting- I wonder if/how the degree structures will change?
I'm hoping to finish mine tonight (which is why I'm on Facebook and BOS  ). I chose the Refugees and Migrants topic (Hispanic migration into the US)- it's really interesting but I'm finding it hard not to rant about how much of a bastard the author of the second article is:
"There is...
Gah- I was hoping if I managed to transfer that my pass for stats wouldn't be shown on my transcript :/ I guess you can't hide anything from your academic past :p
Re: Semester II Chatter Thread!
You'll be fine- I didn't do maths in the HSC (graduated in 2005 and took a gap year, so I hadn't done any maths since the end of 2003, and used to get around 40% in those exams anyway :o ).. and I passed stats last semester.
IMO it's really important to go...
I'm taking these subjects next semester, but I'm going to miss the first two weeks (four lectures and one tute each, I think) because I'll be overseas taking a summer course.
I want to take the course outlines and readings/textbooks with me so I'm not too behind in week three - but I can't...
Re: Post your Semester 2 timetable
I have a one-hour lecture on Tuesdays.. at 3'o'clock.. :mad1:
Does anyone know if the Faculty of Economics and Business records lectures at all??
Hi everyone, sorry for another transferring question but I am thinking of trying to transfer to Economics and Social Sciences next year. My UAI from 2005 was 90.3 (so 2.15 under the cut off for this year, 92.45) and I'm obviously not sure about my average for uni marks yet. I haven't been doing...
^^ does anyone know how much the texts from here are for STAT1021? i'm going to be super pissed if i have to pay heaps for something i'll use for one semester and never look at again :mad1:
Does anyone know if the readers for these subjects (esp. SSCI1003/Exploring the Social Sciences and SCLG1001/Introduction to Sociology 1) are changed much each year?
I was given a copy of these two from last year, and I really don't want to pay $30 each for new ones if I don't have to...
mine will hopefully be:
linguistics for social sciences, french for humanities, and performance studies as a second humanities if i can somehow squeeze in enough senior credit points.
