I've got a Abacus SX-II MATRIX a scientific calculator. For a test that is in a few weeks, the ability to calculate standard deviation off your calculator is required.
I can't find any instructions on how to do it.
There's plenty of other guides to other SD calculations on other...
Just wondering as I've heard many different reports on this topic.
For subjects which involve calculations (I do mathematics chemistry and engineering) does it matter whether you use a pencil or pen? In mathematics my teacher told me to not use a pencil as the scanner may not be able to read...

I'm just wondering about this particular issue and what will happen.
My assessment mark for Engineering is 91. I'm also placed first but I feel like, after realising the extensive lack of knowledge I have in certain calculations, that I am going to go average (50's or 60's, 70 if I'm lucky)...
My sister in-law got an ATAR of 39.9 and now, through entering as a mature age student at UOW, is currently doing a course which required 85 ATAR and is doing her honours, AS WELL AS topping the whole year. Don't stress!
