The low UAI is the cutoff, of course. There are very diverse students in the course who have a range of ambitions. The course teaches what it says it does but you can also do the first three subjects as electives in other degrees, such as Media Arts Production, Journalism etc if you want a cohort which has a higher UAI. Let me know if that answers your questions.
