    Yay, I'm a fan of open attacking football as well which may explain why I love Osieck so much since he's finally instilling an attacking mentality with the Socceroos (unlike that jerk Verbeek!) It's also nice to know we have another scoring outlet rather than just relying on Timmy for the goals.

    Yes, but the problem is, since everyone is there for the money, there's not much gelling going on plus I only footballers who actually play for the love of it, not jumping to an oil-rich club. They just splashed out ~$30 mil for Edin Dzeko (and this was the WINTER transfer window).

    Well seeing as how he beat Barca with Inter last year, I found it quite hard to see how he could get destroyed with Real who have a similar calibre squad.

    Pure football; I guess I'd settle for a more balanced football. =P And yay! We beat Bahrain 1-0, Jedinak to the rescue again. =)

    But seriously, half the Man City squad don't want to be there; they're just there for the money. Apparently the Sheikh (owner) has spent over $1b on the club over two years and they still have no silverware. =P

    I don't know man, Barca's squad is just..epic to say the least.

    Just youtbe the 05 final, there's plenty of clips to be seen. Ah yes, John Terry, although concession to him that he did slip and the ball did hit the post =P and RONALDO missed as well LOL. Was pretty surprised Anelka missed his one, van der Sar isn't a great penalty stopper.

    Epic times were had indeed, though it's totally worth it. =)

    That final in 05 was I think voted one of the best CL finals ever. Shame you didn't hear about it earlier, that's where all the pro football happens! But at least you can watch it now. Waiting for the round of 16 matches in February!

    Reina is awesome keeper though I'll always remember Dudek before him who was average most of the time and then pulled out his best performance during the CL final. =)

    I hate Wayne Rooney as well, incredibly overrated now, one fluke season and you see now he sucks bad, Ronaldo is good but he's at Real now!

    Are you like those eccentric keepers, like have to do spectacular moves to save a ball that another keeper would have seen as a regulation save? And for cricket, you're a lot like Watson when he bats (LBW/Bowled) and I'm sure you're not THAT bad, come on, no one is worse than Howard!

    Hmm, I was thinking about the soccer in our region and in my area, a lot of local matches are closed off to the public because the Serbs/Croats are always starting shit up. Although I do agree I lol'd when I saw plastic chairs flying around. I was thinking, "seriously?!"
