    Hehehe yeah. She rejected an offer from Oxford to do biochem because she wants med at harvard or yale :/

    Interesting. So the weighting of predicted mars = the weighting of actual marks. Weird :/

    I just heard an interesting thing from my friend and would like to confirm.

    Is it true that UNIs overseas take predicted marks rather than actual IB marks into more consideratioon when granting uni places?

    It didn't sound quite right to me, but then again i have no idea about UNIs overseas XD

    I might be able to get a scholarship from the embassy or something. Will see what happens.

    Well, my main problem is moula at the moment. For American med schools I'd need to have the money in escrow before I apply. It would be a hard thing, but I'm going to explore every option.

    With Rhodes, playing sport(s) is one of the requirements for eligibility. But the thing which worries me more is that I'd have to have done honours, and if I don't get the scholarship, I'd be out a year with nothing to show for it. It's a giant risk...

    Yeah of course. I'm a tad iffy about the whole college system at Oxford.

    I won't be the rhodes scholar, lol. I don't play sport!

    And the resources really are second-to-none. It's a shame we don't have anything like that in Australia.
