No, basically it is based on your rank. For instance you are first in bio and your final mark in that report is 96 but you do the HSC and get 92 and that was also the highest mark in the school you get the 92 for both your HSC and assessment mark. Likewise, if the highest mark was 94, by someone else- as you were ranked first you get it. However, there is something called moderation so that if you do HSC and you are ranked 23rd in English and get the highest mark in the HSC, your assessment mark won't be the 23rd mark of say 68 it will be moderated so that you don't lose too much.bump, can someone confirm this as well please?
Thank you smmif your school has a careers consultant or teacher that helps you, definitely have a chat with them when the term opens
iirc early entries are open till sometime in september so ur good. to apply you need to register with uac, gather your nesa details, fill general questions and select your preferences, make a USI (there'll be a link) and pay. afterwards there should be an option labelled 'schools recommendation scheme', click and apply for that and the rest is taken care of from ur school
some ppl are rural but still dont classify as "low socioeconomic"nice way to flex that you dont live in a low socioeconomic area
not lucky when we r disadvantaged and go to a povo schooldamn yall are sooo lucky I wish i had those benefits smh.
yeah its a bit odd, also i think its on a spectrum so you'd need to be on the lowest 25%. there's places in syd that qualify for itsome ppl are rural but still dont classify as "low socioeconomic"
