does anyone have any paper (loose-leaf) or notebook recommendations. The ones I bought from Muji suck as the pen ink is visible on the other side.
studymate loose leaf (found in officeworks) is pretty good but it had binder holes punched into it and the binder edge is lined with this plastic so it doesnt bend so that may be a turn off. just go check it out but its pretty good imo

idk what muji paper u buy but wheneveri buy the b5 (i think) loose leaf it always bleeds but the a4 is pretty good imo. also the loose leaf paper from muji that comes in the book form are really good, like the paper is super thick but its more expensive

The fact that we have barely 40 weeks of school left is terrifying 😭. I literally thought high school would drag on for a long time like primary school.
Also, is anyone taking the UCAT this year? I'm legit so cooked its not even funny, I cannot cope with this test.
Additionally, does anyone know if it is better to apply to UNSW medicine through gateway or through mainstream w/ EAS points? Because I feel like I would be gambling a whole lot by trying for med through gateway since they only take max 10 people, so Iike would EAS be a safer bet?

Finally, is anyone doing geography? Because I feel like we have been left high and dry with this new syllabus and I'm scared for how it will play out this year.

Enjoy year 12 besties we'll prevail.

Idk in general but for MEDICINE SPECIFICALLY, they only take about 10 people through gateway.

Praying that geo will scale up #revengearc

Only for medicine, gateway in general has lots of places, but there's only about 10 medicine spots for the gateway scheme out of the thousands of gateway places available.

it depends on whether ur better ucat or atar-wise
idk much about gateway but EAS only boosts ur atar so if u get a crappy ucat it won't help much. On the other hand if ur rlly good at ucat but not get not so good atar-wise then EAS would give you a significant boost.

hello! does anyone have any pen recommendations for the hsc? i prefer dry pens over the liquid-y ones e.g muji pens (theyre nice but not for me idk) i prefer dry pens but they are annoying bc even if its half full itll still have some missing lines/marks while writing but idkk it makes my handwriting prettier 😔 i need a pen thatll be good for writing in the hsc and trials esp since its a lottt of pages.

should i start using liquidy pens instead for the hsc? i dont know what to do because they make my handwriting messier and harder to read. i was thinking of bringing a ton of dry pens to the trials and hsc.. does anyone have any advice ?
