Hey mate, Im currently doing first year Oral Health at newcastle but wishing to undertake dentistry at La Trobe. What sort of GPA/UMAT would you expect for entry into the course?

just wondering..i didnt get into ltu dentistry this year...is it possible to complete first year bach of physio and then transfer into dent? or do u know any other pathways i could take to get into dent?

Hey!
I'm right in the middle of my VCE right now and have been thinking about Dentristry at Latrobe for some time. I was lucky to be browsing through a thread and saw your signature. Hooray! Someone's actually doing a course I want to know more about!
So I want to ask about the selection process, and your opinion on whether dentistry at Latrobe is worth pursuing at all. I know it must be hard work and am prepared for that-- but do you think a career as a dentist is really worth it?
