Thanks for the invite to the BoS IRC "meat" ^_^
It would be really great if I could meet you, Jet and the others in real life, however I am unable to go.
I am really unfamiliar with the city and I am very geographically-challenged. I'd prolly get lost in the huge rush of the city, aha.
I really appreciate the invite though Maybe next time then?

Yeah, but I know heaps of people who've not accelerated and gotten 99+. Accelerating isn't necessary at all for a higher ATAR, in fact of all the people in my school who've gotten 99+ ATAR, none of them was accelerated.
Accelerating is admittedly helpful for getting some subjects over and done with so you can concentrate on other subjects, but it still gets hectic to the extent that it screws up the studies of students who can't cope.
So, yeah don't worry. If you study well for your other subjects you'll be just fine.
Also, Ruse does not just do well because they accelerate, in fact many of them don't accelerate in maths, english etc. They do well because the school hordes all the smartest people around the state.

Haven't heard from you in a while! How's Year 11 treating you?
I never heard closure from your dispute with the school regarding extension maths, are they allowing you in a class now?
Oh, and the excitement of "Year 11" has died down now xD
Kinda stressing out a bit, as all the assessments / homeworks / exam notifications come swooping in.
I'll try to go on IRC more often. I'd like to hear how the others are going xD
