Just read it again - mixed feelings

I just read my creative piece again and realise it was pretty gay. "Some days we’d twaddle, some days we’d flirt, we didn’t kiss or anything, but I felt his heart palpitating just as fast as mine." Wtf does that even mean. Anyway, I might not like what I wrote back then but it still got me the marks. Just don't be homophobic.
