I'm currently living in New College Village which is right on the opposite to the main gate of UNSW. I think this place is excellent! Lots of non compulsory social activities. Nice optional meal plan for those who don't wanna cook(like me). Quite and they have a rule of no noise after 11pm...

Yeah I reckon doing a BEcononics in UNSW will most easily get you internally transferred to a commerce degree. Courses in the Eco degree is rather flexible and it allows you to choose those 'WAM Boosters' :)
