    Arabic?

Really? Strange, I thought Italian went slowly and French was really fast. And yeh, forgot about that. Same subjects either way though, just a different degree.

Studying while living in a College

But don't you have a larger range of girls there? I'm sure you'd have similar numbers on the other end of the spectrum. Anyway, if you're not sporty, just fill that gap with other extra-curricular things you've done. There's plenty of college-folk who aren't into sports.

Studying while living in a College

Women's, International, Mendelbaum or Sancta Sophia.

    Arabic?

I know someone majoring in Arabic, and obviously loves it. And I don't see anything wrong with languages at USYD. I've studied French, Italian and Greek here, and they're all great. In fact, French has been my favourite. Although with physics and Arabic, they don't really go together do they...

First year at uni and hate it!

Gosh, this is my second year and I'm loving it. It may be demanding at times, but at least I have an interest in what I'm studying.

    ITT: FML I hate uni.

When I had a group task and wasn't sure if I was going to continue, I at least had the decency to join a group that was already full. Then when I did pull out, they still had 5 people.

    Semester 1 Chatter Thread (2010)

Thai Times 9 never fails to deliver the goods. $6.50 and always an even split of rice, veggies and meat.

    Psychology and Mathematics Discussion

If you're gonna do normal math and fuck it up, then general maths would be classed as "whatever". If your course at uni has a higher maths prerequisite than you've studied, then you'll just have to do fundamentals or a bridging course first. There's no use trying to fill those prerequisites if...

    Psychology and Mathematics Discussion

Do whatever will get you the highest ATAR.

Withdrawing from subject befor census date

I'm pretty sure they give you a refund. That's the whole point of the census date.

A degree from What I like, Or what will benefit me?

I did a year of what I thought would get me a good job, then I dropped out and transferred when I realised it was ridiculously boring.

    Which degree for science teaching?

Bachelor of Education (Secondary:Science)/Bachelor of Science - Future students - The University of Sydney Education/Science at USYD. Alternatively, just do Science and look into Education after you graduate.

Can you be enrolled in two unis at once? What happens and how do I do it?

I've been enrolled at three unis, but only two at a time, so yes it's certainly possible. I wouldn't recommend actually studying at two at the same time though.

    ITT: FML I hate uni.

Gosh. I'm loving uni this year.

    Train / ticket question

What if I'm coming from Pennant Hills? I can choose to go to Redfern via Chatswood or Epping. I have to interchange at Epping if I go that route, but it's a shorter distance. According to CityRail, getting off at Central would not be within my path and shouldn't be allowed, but they still accept...

    Best uni for International Studies?

I'd choose USYD out of the Sydney universities. Although if you want to go on exchange, I believe UTS and MACQ offer more places for overseas study.

How do you listen to the lectures on an mp3 player?

This... http://lmgtfy.com/?q=.mov+to+.mp3 ...Should answer your question.

    Train / ticket question

I've always wondered how this applies to the October changes for the Northern line. Since the trains go both ways, via Strathfield or via Chatswood, I can pretty much get off anywhere on the line as long as I have a city ticket.

ARTS1000 eSearch to Research Library Skills

I dropped sociology so I wouldn't have to do that. Good luck lol.

Class participation - what's the point?

They give me an extra 10-20% easy marks. I see no reason for complaint.
