Sorry, i didn't phrase what i was saying properly. Some science teaches may be challenged by teaching extension science subjects. I agree that a harder bio syllabus would be within nearly all teachers capabilities.

Why should there be? If you math kids practically get to learn the majority of first year uni in 4 unit why should it be different for other subjects? And about your 5 unit idea, they probably dont have it as it would most certainly induce suicide.
