Trust me, I know how you feel. My parents are just insane. Pressure is building and increasing at an alarming rate. What makes it worse is that I have no sense of motivation or "drive" whatsoever. I know that I could do well but I just really can't be bothered. I don't know how to explain it...

Good job with pulling yourself up! If you keep up the pace you are now, I'm sure you'll do very well :) Like Spiral said, it does help to talk to people with you have issues, even a rant to your pet or something to just take it off you mind. Remember to stay positive :)

It's a scheme called EAS http://www.uac.edu.au/documents/schoolink/eas-schools-2012.pdf You can go to this for more information. I think there are a few requirements that you need to need, though unfortunate, you have met one of them.

In that case, it is entirely possible. If you score very well in your prelims and show a high dedication to English, I'm sure that your teacher could make that recommendation to your head teacher. As a matter of fact, someone in my class did just that :)

I don't think that pH necessarily affects the reaction rate all the time. I would suggest something like amount of reactants instead.

EAS is done through an application, but the HSC Plus scheme is automatic.
