Just how they calculate the individual scores, full marks being 100. You should just look at percentile scores rather than worry about what each section means unless you're applying to a specific uni and you need to calculate the chances of obtaining an offer.

No it doesn't work like that. I think UNSW also does this but like I said earlier GPA to ATAR conversion is crap.

Not sure but conversion from GPA to ATAR is terrible. 99+ATAR is equivalent to HD+ in GPA from what I heard. Getting a HD in uni is much harder.
