Balanced equation of Vinegar and WASHING soda

Okay for washing soda, get rid of the '.10(H20)' ok and you should be able to write a balanced equation now, seeing as it will be a neutralisation reaction, with a carbonate, so products will be salt + water + CO2 ill start you off youll need twice as many CH3COOH's as Na2CO3

Degree of ionisation question help :S

    SO [H3O+] for 1M will be 0.4% *1 = 0.004 mol/L for 0.1M it will be 1.3% * 0.1 = 0.013*0.1 = 0.0013 difference = 0.004-0.0013 = 0.0027 = 2.7*10^-3 ive never encountered a Q like this in all the past papers ive done, but seems pretty straight forward

Urgent help needed ( simple question)

NaNO3 is ionic, ie you cant just say 'Na reacts with this and NO3 reacts witht his' its the ions - ie 'Na+ does not react with water, it solvates, as does NO3-' so in answer to your question, no it produces a neutral salt

When do we get our premiers award???

    Escape Velocity

"The term escape velocity can be considered a misnomer because it is actually a speed rather than a velocity, i.e. it specifies how fast the object must move but the direction of movement is irrelevant, unless "downward." In more technical terms, escape velocity is a scalar (and not a vector)."...
