    Greek World 500-440 BC

If I did 'A' I would have said: A successful war campaign relies on the balance of strategy, tactics and logistics; strategy being defined as the pre-battle decisions, tactics being defined as the options made during battle and logistics as the quartermastering and supply of the campaign. Then...

Is it better to do 12 or 10 Units for HSC?

I mostly agree with this guy. We can't really help you though. Just go through year 11 first and then decide.

    Hot or Cute?

Cute. But personality comes first unless she looks like hagrid.
  4. 1981Grant

How do you motivate yourself to study?

Achieve purpose. Focus comes from purpose. Focus leads to solid study.

Is it better to do 12 or 10 Units for HSC?

Not trying to burst your bubble but carrying 12 units into the hsc is stupid. I carried 13 for the first term and majorly regret it. I'm not a time management person but I'm intelligent and organised. It is not worth the stress and effort of maintaining 12 units as you can devote much more...

    important question!!

Don't freak out. As long as whatever you wrote didn't go outside the black scan alignment markers you'll be fine. I wrote over on most of my questions because I hate using extra booklets.

    Exam predictions

Sciences generally show the same trend in structures. If chemistry is as unusual as the bio test was...

    90 naruto episodes in 5 days (H)

Shippuden is poor. Just read the manga instead.

How hard do you think they will mark the 7 marker on the implications of Biology?

Tbh if your arguement/essay was solid and you related it back to the implications for society bit of the question you will probably get a 6/7. I know that between our three bio classes our responses could have given you an informed understanding of the whole syllabus the scope was that large.

    physics/Chem final prep

Hey Guys. For people doing chem, I would suggest to you not to change your exam strategy now, just do it how you've always done it you don't want to get all 'panicky' when you change styles or something. Personally I would recommend getting the multiple choice out of the way first and then doing...

    General Thoughts: Biology

If you were smart enough to know the content, I believe you are probably smart enough to put down one of the correct two and come back to it later in the paper, not wasting time.

    General Thoughts: Biology

the cells designed to kill viral pathogens. the two possible answers were 'cytoxic t cells' or 'killer t cells'

    Section II - Ancient Societies

I wrote 3 full pages with medium sized handwriting. Probably 400-600 words.

    Section II - Ancient Societies

Don't stress, the 15 marker was so vague in its outline that you could talk about anything. Personally I didn't talk at all about leisure and everyday life and I know my response deserves a >12 I think you will be fine, you seem to know what you're talking about.
  15. 1981Grant

Section I - Core (Pompeii and Herculaneum)

Don't worry about it. In my trial I had the exact same thing, I had a solid arguement about conservation and reconstruction and forgot about the sources which still managed me an 8/10.

    Greek World 500-440 BC

I did part b. It was really easy to adjust my essay about transforming the Delian League into the Athenian Empire. I just said something like: The Athenians manipulated the aims of the Delian League to mirror their own subjugating the allies to their will and their imperialistic progression...

    Section III - Personalities

Our class didn't focus on any of his military achievements apart from the Peloponnesian Wars, which I wouldn't even call an achievement considering he failed. The building program one was doable but sort of unexpected, I was expecting something on his early life.

    General Thoughts: Biology

A was the axon. The myelin sheath are the layers that insulate the axon to speed up the impulse. Unlucky.
