    CAD help

Ok i dont do wood... but i would say that a CAD drawing that would get a good mark would be something that is presented well, is clear and makes sense... saying that i guess this means one drawn to standards and that uses AS1100 for presentation... However this is only HSC so i guess it should...

    Uni V Uni

wow ok. I have been to UNSW... my experience was very good, everyone seemed friendly and the school of Mech seemed very good (nice 5axis milling machine & 3D printer lol)... many people have told me that it is a very good uni for engineering. UTS however has the benefit of being closer... i...

    Uni V Uni

hey, I would like to study Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering at either UNSW, UTS or USYD,( in that order of preference for now..) but i have no idea which one of these is better than the other. I am also taking into account travel as i live in western suburbs. Can anyone give me some...

    UAI Estimators

hi, in a uai estimator such as 'albert einstein' do i type in my aligned mark... as in the mark that i would get on my certificate... i dont really care much for the process but is this right: u do hsc... the marks are aligned (or moderated watever) then these marks are sent to UAC who...

    Electrodes - Anodes and Cathodes

does anyone know why this is so... i have a slight idea but am not sure...

    Electrodes - Anodes and Cathodes

im a bit confused about something... why is it that in chemistry we call the anode of a battery (galvanic cell) the negative end and in physics the cathode is the negative end of a discharge tube...?

    How do my subjects scale?

@OP: who cares about scaling... unless u can somehow change the subjects u are doing, u are stuck with them... u should concentrate on getting the best mark you can rather than wasting ur time on discussing scaling (unless of course u are choosing ur subjects or dropping them... and in that...

    Integration - Substitution

    I have a qyick question... when doing integration with substitution, say S x(x^2 - 9)^5 , u=x^2 - 9 (where S is the integral sign) is it correct to sub for dx instead of du... so: du/dx = 2x so dx = du/2x thus S x u^5 du/2x = 1/2 S u^6/6 etc... or must i do it like this; du/dx=2x so...

    to drop chemistry or not...

i was in the same situation as u... wat i did was just applied myself more... did my own study using sylabus and various notes from net and of corse text books... now i think i am doing pretty well.... just use the sylabus and try hard and get a tutor if it helps... if not then drop.

    Prove this?

here let me sort this out... i think the proof would still work because for the statement to hold true, LHS can = RHS = 0. maybe if i had set it out like this: Prove: ln2 = -ln0.5 Comment / Construction: If the statement holds true, then ln2 + ln0.5 = 0 ---------- (1) since...

    Prove this?

    hmm... ic wat u mean...

    Prove this?

u make a good point... but i dont i think i would have changed anything by addin ln0.5 to both sides... its still the same just rearranged (issnt it???)... coz wat happens wiff those types of questions where u have to rearrange both sides first... wouldnt this change the equality
  17. micuzzo

    Prove this?

    how about: ln2=-ln0.5 ln2 + ln0.5 = 0 LHS = ln1=0=RHS Q.E.D

    circular perms Q

well im not sure... the question is dumb... firstly i would say that since its a circle u need to minus 1 ie (n-1)! so i wouldnt use 10 then it says they are distinct ... so i guess u can assume that it will be a permutation... but wats a distinct table, duz it mean that the tables are diff...
