I was thinking the same thing too. There are courses with a capacity of 2 or 4. I want to enroll but that scared me off.

Re: Guide to Picking First year Electives That sounds nice. But I don't know anything about engineering of any sort. I know some physics, but just the theoretical stuff. I mean I know laws of electricity, electromagnetism but never done any practical stuff. How do they expect us to just jump...

Anyone here in a sports club or taking a rec course at uni? If you did, what would you say about the quality of the club/course? Do they assume you have prior experience? I'm thinking about joining a martial arts club, is anyone here a member of one? Thanks in advance^^

me too, too bad so sad.... I think the problem is that they were trying too hard, they went "ahh" and "impressive" when I said I'm in Engineering...if I recall correctly, UNSW has ~9000 in Engineering...so, I'm not impressed.

Well, the only thing I noticed about O-week is that there are too many Christian groups. Though I'm Christian too, I don't like the idea about religion dominating education... Anyway what event should we newbies attend to make friends...?
