Re: Section 2 - Who used quote as central idea, who just slotted the quote in somewhe
Okay I admit it, I wrote a story about the puppy who lost his way.
oh and the first one shocked me when it started. It was fairly loud and it went 4 3 2 1 with the numbers switching between right and left speakers, I was in the middle and the first time it played I jumped a bit. Looked like an idiot, haha.
God, get over it. Yes, they did something silly, no, it probably won't make a difference.
It's a creative piece, the marker has to interpret your meaning. They'll probably see it as an inner journey or something.
Yeah I wasn't sure whether the quote had to go in it either. I fit it in somewhere just to be safe though. Don't know if my story tied to the concept of "everywhere he went people would chat to him" but it's pretty ambiguous really and I think the concept of my story is pretty solid.
A radio...
No problem, it's probably the best text I've done. There's even a website that analyses the book practically panel by panel. I didn't end up using it but it's always there.
Agree on the physical journeys thing, too.
Ah okay, cool.
Psst for another text, graphic novel Watchmen. Chapter VI or chapter VI. Both awesome. I did VI and there was so much stuff there was no way I could write about it all. This is for Inner Journeys specifically, too.
For Chapter VI you have two journeys going on at the same time...
For Inner:
Watchmen (used in my essay)
American Psycho (did not end up using today)
Wind in the Willows (dodgy I know, but I already had poems for my prescribed texts and the other non-poem texts were even worse)
If you're like me and have picked obscure texts it's unlikely that anyone will have anything similar anywayy, win :D
Argh I shouldn't have drunk that can of Coke I'm all hyper now. I just managed to learn all of my quotes by acting them out hardcore, maybe I should take a shot to calm me down :P
Re: wat u guys plannin 2 do afta hsc
Ah really? Yeah that was the one. Also Melbourne Uni. I'm actually looking mainly at Melbourne atm and my preferences go Architecture -> Engineering -> Media & Comm so hopefully I don't have to worry about working that all out.
Good luck sorting out what...
I've written a story and am remembering it in the hope that I do get lucky.
If I do, awesome. If not, there's not a lot I could have done to prepare in the first place.
