    Multiple Choice

Oh no don't worry I picked A as well but I'm not too sure. I was just going by what the syllabus say ad when it refers to separation of powers it's between the legislature, executive and judiciary. GG isn't included Sorry for sounding rude Hayley :)

    Economics extended response...

Yeah I went to a lecture and Ross Gittins was talking as well as another Senior HSC Marker and they both think that with the trends in the exchange rate, there'll be a question on it in the exam. Hoping for exchange rates, labour market or environment, and fiscal (I can only hope though probs...

    Multiple Choice

GG has nothing to do with it Executive: Puts law into action Legislature: Makes and amends Judiciary: Interprets + makes judgements So I guess the answer would be B then as the executive applies the legislation Silly me was thinking of common law (most rights from Common law e.g. Dietrich v R)...

Hope you guys found the exam as good as I did :) How did you feel about the Family and Shelter questions? I did Part A for both. Also how did you define a peace right??

    Multiple Choice

I didn't think the GG was involved in the separation of powers. Isn't it only the executive, legislature and judiciary???

So what did assess really mean?

Taken directly from BOS website. Assess Make a judgement of value, quality, outcomes, results or size So yes, essentially talking about the effectiveness as when you do that, you are making a judgement. I made sure to say that "therefore, the role is discretion is both important/crucial and...

    Crime Extended Response

Did you do the LSA trial? It was about the role of discretion in the criminal justice system.
  10. H

    Crime Extended Response

We had almost the exact same question for our trial escept it asked about discretion in general rather than specifically about sentencing and punishment. I talked about the age of criminal responsibility in regards to the rebuttable presumption of doli incapax. Cases: R v Gorrie (1919), R v LMW...

General Thoughts: English Advanced Paper 2

Don't worry. A lot of people from what I can gather, wrote in 3rd person but said "the responder/audience _____" so it should be fine because the responder/audience is you so it can be interpreted as your response. Hayley :)

General Thoughts: English Advanced Paper 2

I feel like the BOS went easy on the kids who did Speeches this year. Makes up for the mandating in the past 2 years and throwing us off by not specifying this year. Hayley :)

General Thoughts: English Advanced Paper 2

I did the same as you pretty much. Idk if its right but with speeches I talked about how Pearson, Bandler and Sadat emphasise the need for recognition of the past in order to create solutions in the present. Then techniques about how it was specific to time and place in regards to the audience...

General Thoughts: English Advanced Paper 2

Mod A - Frankenstein/Blade Runner Threw me at first but linked to idea of how composers illustrate enduring values throughout time Mod B - Speeches Damn BOS making me study all speeches because of mandating. But question was pretty good. Talked about Pearson, Bandler and Sadat Mod C - Caesar...

    Shelter textbook

Hi I'm doing my study notes for shelter right now but all we went off content-wise was PowerPoint presentations that don't really give evidence or in-depth knowledge. I was wondering if anyone knew of textbooks that include shelter in the current syllabus, not the old one as our textbook doesn't...
