You won't be far away from 74. Any uni course that is as low as 74 will generally accept people a few ATAR points lower.
Just go fantastic in your last subjects... With any luck Maths may not count towards your ATAR.

Could I perhaps trade the corn that I grow on my rural crops for more bonus points?
I also get Equity bonus points too, because my dad is like 70 years old and on a pension. Bless 'Murica.
Your HSC is in 2014.
When I was finishing yr 11, I was on track for a high 90's ATAR with extension 1 and extension 2 English.
Things change, a lot.
I now do neither and on 11 units, that 1 extra unit will pull my ATAR up a few points probably.
Also, what you want to do after school also...
Which presents the issue of having 12 units. It is always wise to have a backup 2 units, so if you can't do history extension, don't drop anything to begin with.
To get an 84 ATAR the best thing to do is to drop Maths for sure and do History Extension. I do it and I find it really interesting and fun, but also easy enough to achieve good marks in.
I have preferred GTA V and NBA 2K14 to studying. I average about 85% or so across my subjects, I expect an ATAR of around 85 also.
I've said it before and I'll say it again...
I'd rather be a happy band 5 student than an unhappy band 6 one. Each individual is different and I couldn't...
Oh no lol, considering everyone left the exam after an hour besides myself and another girl who struggles but gave it her best shot :(
Thankyou for your help!! :)
Curious...
Legal Studies: 91 rank 1/8
Ancient History 90 rank 1/9
English Advanced 76 rank 8/14
History Extension 84 rank 1/1
Business Studies 81 rank 1/11
SOR2 88 rank 3/32
My school ranks 250 plus
Also, I feel pretty confident about my exams so far... English is probably a low...
I know of somebody who does 14 units in year 12, stays after school for something else, and finished a hsc course after sitting it in yr 10 and 11.
To start year 12 I was on 14 units but always intended to drop something after gauging the content.
I dropped drama and English Extension 1 as the...
So basically, I go to a VERY average school...
For Ancient, the lowest mark is probably around 45%, and then maybe two above 80, and myself at 90. I ranked 1/9.
Would my ranking in what is not a great class not really help much?
