actually now i think of it i have seen trial papers specify approx 400w and that was our limit for the one we did in our AOS portfolio. Most importantly don't ramble on to fill up space because in creative writing, word choice is important.

in my trial i got 14 or 14.5 out of 15 and i only wrote a page and a half (on A4 paper.) That was for a short story but for an interview or letter or something the length would vary. Its quality over quantity.

most exams say 'at least ONE text' but its possible for them to say two. You should have at least two in my opinion because its possible that one text won't fit to the question and your thesis.

why would you want to choose another one? You can refer to another one within a paragraph eg The change in perspective is similar to the CIP in The Door. (Obviously a bit more fancy!) you would be better talking about more than one related texts because that is going to be all your own work...

thats the easiest method and the one i use 90% of the time but to make it better you have to make sure you link your texts from paragraph to paragraph and you should have references to the other texts within each paragraph eg THis is similar to the change experienced in ______ however...

i think lemonade is right. in my trial each section in the second paper was out of 20 and each section in the AOS was out of 15.

they could ask a question about cambodia by itself. There is two dot points on it - spread of war into cambodia and and aims of Pol Pot's regime. plus it fits under nationalist leaders and villagers. Also Cambodia is vital beacuse it is the spread of the war that makes it an indochina war...

i don't think the markers will look down on using mainstram modern film texts. in fact for our AOS portfolio we HAD to have an audiovisual texts. Mainstream modern texts are actually in the syllabus (eg Clueless) so they are suitable. It doen't matter what text you do, it just depends on...

you can always try writing form two different persona's ie the same person but looking at an event when they were say 5 and now they are 30. If your not careful that become cliched but i did it in my trial and got 14.5/15
