    Shipwrecks

Sounds good. I noted that all contained potential electrolyte solutions, hence the need to protect. Can = Aluminium, disposable, thin, susceptible to corrosion upon scratching etc. Tin = Stainless steel becuase designed for use over a longer period of time, alloyed with nickel etc. for strength...

    Shipwrecks

I mentioned that copper guttering would be useful in that the iron in the steel would oxidise in preference HOWEVER the properties and additives within the steel would prevent it from corrosion. I didn't really know to be honest.

    how was it

Shipwrecks was ok I think... what did the first question mean? With the cans? Really strange, hasn't been a question like that before. I'm glad the 7 marker was on the history of cells etc.

    how was it

I think they're referring to the galvanic cell question - which is a battery lol. I'm glad there wasn't a comparison of lead or dry cell with another battery thing :) .. but I guess its not too bad

    how was it

I found it pretty cruel that they had THREE calculation questions in a row for the multiple choice. Yeah I stuffed the calculation stuff.... But the 6/7 markers were AWESOME. Polyethylene and Equilibrium?? Thank you very much haha

Section I - Core (Pompeii and Herculaneum)

+1 Yeah I wrote about how the context of the excavators influenced their decisions. I.e. Maiuri was influenced by the Mussolini regime to unearth treasures that showcased the glory of Italy's past, hence an impact of tourism affecting the management of the site...

Frankenstein and Blade Runner... Who's glad to see the end of it?

+1 Spot on! Ready? Disruption ---> Misuse of science upsetting the natural balance and course of nature leading to the corruption of humanity etc. .... and Identity ---> Lack of individual rights for the creations due to obsession from their creators, which comes from the above disruption ...

    SOR I - Section 3! YOUR THOUGHTS

Being accelearted for sor 1 last year feels great now, but I truly feel sorry for this year's class in religion :( ... The ones I feel most sorry for now are actually the year 11's like myself last year doing the accelerated studies ... it was their only acceleration for this year, just one...

    Hamlet - loyalty WTF???

I loved it. I believe I discussed the idea of loyalty being a dynamic issue (remind you of something in paper 1?). I discussed the conflict of Hamlet's loyalty towards either the state or his own blood (his father). Yeah the whole of paper 2 was great...And can you believe it? 3 essays for me! :)

    is art a bludge

Does the smiley in my signature tell you my opinion? Art is a joke, honestly. If you know enough artists, periods, postmodern elements, works, analysis and such it is easy... The problem is the scaling. I regret doing this sorry excuse for a subject.

    Spartiate homoioi help?

These are the Spartan citizens who were over 30 and male (i.e. full citizens) I believe, although their lands were equally subdivided, they had different amounts of influence. There was not one class of syssitia.. some were more popular than others, hence individuals in these had a different...

Do you lose marks for having 2 related texts?

I've got an interesting point I just thought of... Would we be having this same discussion if someone used 3 texts when it said to use 2? I don't really care if you think I'm being an idiot, don't post then. But I'd just like to see what people think
