Thy could easily estimate how much is written by counting how's my words you write on each line and how many lines were filled up. Would take 10 seconds.
It's so annoying when they do that. They just go off an impression and don't even think about it for a sec.
It doesn't take a genius to work out large writing = more pages.

Each paper is 2 hrs, with 40 mins recommended per section.
However obviously if you finish your short answers and creative earlier you can spend more time on the essay.
$Make the $ ln(x)$ in $ J_n $ become $ ([1+ln(x)]-1)$, then expand, so you should get $ (1+lnx)^{n+1} - (1+lnx)^n$, then use the reduction formula provided from $ I_n$.$
And to add to that, writing on the spot lacks complexity compared to an essay that has been refined and edited countless times. When you write it on the spot, it will be no better than your first draft of a prepared essay.
It doesn't matter what the point is, it matters how to get the marks. Sure you can do well without memorising, but to say memorising is a disservice is beyond a joke.
