    Structure of the Exam

Something I have thought about before is having a section whereby the student chooses which question to answer. So the whole state may have to complete Q1-7 (old format), but in Q8 they have options to choose from. This came from the fact that performance by top students is varied by the last...

    Should I do 4U maths?

Keep in mind a lot of people really exaggerate 4U maths. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely challenging in parts, but it's by no means just for genius'.

    Should I drop English Extension?

Might as well drop it then and not waste your time. You don't enjoy it that much, you're already thinking of dropping in year 12 and it won't improve adv english by that much. Unless you want to keep it to see if circumstances change, then thats fine.

    Should I drop English Extension?

Do you enjoy the subject? Are you good at it? Do you think it'll count towards your ATAR? I think you should drop, as you seem to believe dropping would allow you to improve in other subjects. Also who recommended to keep it? Because it's not always best to ask your English teacher or the...

In this case to deduce it using the right hand *palm rule you cannot consider it at that point. Here are the two cases: Ignore the graph for now, and consider the framed diagrams: LEFT: LK is moving clockwise, hence when the plane is parellel to the magentic field, it will be...

    [DOWNLOAD] My Half-Yearly Examination

That's incorrect though. If you turn it one way, according to Lenz's Law, an EMF will be induced to create a current that generates force to oppose the original motion. By what you have said (if either direction of rotation occurs a current is generated in the same direction regardless) one of...

    [DOWNLOAD] My Half-Yearly Examination

According to Faradays law, direction of induced current depends on the direction of movement within the magnetic field. So yes, induced emf does flow in the opposite direction when rotated anti-clockwise.
