Anyone know how to do this multiple choice chem question?

How did you get D? I'm still lacking with molar heat combustion stuff.

What are job prospects like for science in sydney? (biomedical, medical, etc.)

In that case, are ATARs in general considerably higher for doing science engineering courses?

What are job prospects like for science in sydney? (biomedical, medical, etc.)

Yeah, apparently my older cousins told me that it's pretty hard to find jobs for science courses like biomed, as a lot of science students don't really know what they want to do since they can't become a doctor or some higher profession. I'm not sure if it's competitive because a lot of people...

What are job prospects like for science in sydney? (biomedical, medical, etc.)

I had decided on doing biomedical science in uni (if I actually get the offer) but I only considered doing it cuz I'm better at doing biology and maths although I don't see myself being interested in it and enjoying some career out of it. I don't even know what proper careers there are for doing...

I'm screwed for the ATAR :/

So what do you reckon would happen if the person with the lowest rank internally in the cohort comes first/second/third in the externals (or beats the person who usually comes first)?

I'm screwed for the ATAR :/

Just done my trials and I have completely failed them (<50%) Technically I was aiming for 90+ atar before realising that I'll possibly be getting 80. However, having done all my internal assessments, I feel like I'm just gonna get ~40 atar. These are my estimated results from my trials...

What if I were to get 50% internals but 90% externals...?

That's great then. :) Btw, what would you consider my ATAR (estimate) to be if I actually got 50% internals and 90% externals? (school rank 320)

What if I were to get 50% internals but 90% externals...?

Let's say that I have one of the weakest marks in my school cohort, say around 50%. What would happen if I managed to get 90 in the HSC? Would that push up the marks for the whole cohort? Yeah, I don't even know what I just said =_=
  9. M

Am I able to achieve an ATAR of 92+ even if I failed my internals?

Haha, I guess you could call it an Asian fail (in the case of my parents, a fail is <90) but it's more likely a fail less than 50%

Am I able to achieve an ATAR of 92+ even if I failed my internals?

I've already posted a similar questions before but some people haven't seemed to answer my other questions...so I'll just repeat. Recently my marks for all my subjects are either a fail or just passed the average mark. At the start of Year 12 I was doing pretty well before I started failing...

Do internal marks really affect the external marks that much???

Recently my marks for all my subjects are either a fail or just passed the average mark. At the start of Year 12 I was doing pretty well before I started failing during the second half of my exams. I'm ranked 2nd last in 3U Mathematics, 10th last in English Advanced and 8th last in Chemistry...

Questions about Maths questions since I'm a maths noob?

Thanks for the help guys. But would this same method apply for finding the inverse function of y = lnx?

Questions about Maths questions since I'm a maths noob?

I'm working through inverse functions now and I'm getting a bit confused with inverse functions of exponentials and logs. Is exponential(e) the opposite of loge? (Just want to make sure) For example, y = e^x Ans: f^-1(x) = logex or lnx (according to txtbk) So I'm...
