Me too! I work at Maccas (non-24hr) and when we close I go right to the pickle jar and eat heaps before they get thrown out haha.

Hard to say because I haven't done much medical science (sounds really interesting though), but I really like chemistry and I think I'd probably be sad if I never studied it again, haha.

I've never heard of that.. Where did you hear that from? If it's true, that's really dodgy. They request it back once you quit so they could hardly make you pay for it.

I'm pretty sure that thats the standard wage for a 19 y o. $15.15p/h may be without casual loading. Maccas doesn't do trainee wages anymore so it shouldn't change.

I applied like 2 and a half years ago so maybe it's different now but there should be an attachment on the application.

For NSW including casual loading, the 17 year old wage is $13.86 and $16.18 as an 18 year old. Also after 7 days your application will time out but yeah you can start again. It's probably a good idea to get all your referees/cover letter sorted now though so it's ready to go.

Nah, we have had heaps of trainees aged 18-19 recently. They do give more hours to younger people but if you can work during school times that's a plus. It's not like they won't hire you.

Thanks! I think I'll ask one of the managers today. The only problem is that I can't guarantee that I'll be there for longer than another 4 months as I might be moving interstate for uni. But I guess it doesn't hurt to ask.

They are separate so you will get one offer per "admissions centre" you apply to. (One each for UAC, QTAC, VTAC, SATAC, etc) And there's no need to specify an overall first preference.

I'm the same about tea. If I don't have one there I have this nagging thought; 'I should really go get myself a cup of tea soon' and I can't focus.

I swear I'm incapable of sitting at a desk normally and studying (unless I'm in a public place). I always end up either curled up on the floor or half sitting on the table. It's weird.
