Pulp Fiction has a pretty good one, Reservoir Dogs too come to think of it. No action, really, but a cool discussion and then straight into an awesome song and opening credits. James Bond movies usually have decent opening sequences. I'm drawing a bit of a blank here, actually. Sorry. Hope...

I saw a damn cool mirrored Ibanez Jem in the store the other day. At least I think that's what it was, I couldn't tell very well as it was in a glassed-off room. Pretty awesome, though.

Writing down ftw! When I write them down myself I memorise them better, plus I learn along the way as I'm summarising. I use BoS to add stuff to mine or when it's too late to make my own notes.
