Just had my first in-store shift as service cashier yesterday. Was just reading the SDA union crap and it said if I'm casual and on probationary period I should get 9.85 an hour but I'm only getting 8.2 an hour which is what part-timers get paid..but I'm a casual :/ (I'm 16 btw) don't really...

I joined that SDA crap, what a waste. Oh yeah and my pay classification is grade award and I'm 16 which according to them = 8.20ph but this chick next to me is classification = award, she's also 16 but doesn't goto school and she gets paid 9.00ph. Is that right?

i have my first in-store shift this thursday and my VET music concert is on the same night..what do I do cos its my first shift, should i ask them to reschedule? the induction today was so fucking boring........

Only politicians use the word 'multicultural'. I live in Melbourne and the only good thing about it would be the city. Excellent resteraunts, good entertainment and all that jazz. Oh yeah..multiculturalism my ass, most people are quite rascist to be honest (against asians & africans).

I fucking missed the interview because I forgot to bring my birth certificate, and I've been to so many interviews - and this is safeway so they don't really invite you for an interview very often. So pissed!!!

In my case, you have to start somewhere. Alot of people work at maccas, there's nothing wrong with saying you work there but actually working there is different in regards to them overworking people (for bad pay) which they're notorious for. I don't think there's anything wrong with the reject...

Re: Coles Pay rate Probs like thats not funny..its annoying. Around 7.50-8.00 ph or you could just search the forums ('coles pay' in your search) and should find out the exact wages.

Ended up missing the interview, meh.
