    Re: HSC 2016 2U Marathon Write it like this (Check "Reply with Quote") $ Find the maximum and minimum values of $ y=2x^3 -3x^2 -12x $ for $ 2 \leq x \leq 4.

    leehuan's All-Levels-Of-Maths SOS thread

Then how are you going to obtain the required limit?
  7. D

    leehuan's All-Levels-Of-Maths SOS thread

It really doesn't matter if x is positive it doesnt change anything as you said if its negative the inequalities switch and you are still left with : 0 \leq Limit \leq 0

    -1 \leq \sin (\frac{1}{x}) \leq 1 -x \leq x\sin (\frac{1}{x}) \leq x x \rightarrow 0 \ 0 \leq $ Desired Limit \leq 0 \therefore $ Limit $ =0

hmmm :/ If I pick a different starting point for a vector I get a different answer is it wrong?

    leehuan's All-Levels-Of-Maths SOS thread

So assume all vector equations are a plane unless the vectors are scalar multiples of each other.

hmmm How can you spot the difference sorry can you write up something plz :(

    leehuan's All-Levels-Of-Maths SOS thread

Aren't lines just any vectors except when its in the form of a plane? $ Plane would be $ \overrightarrow{x}= \lambda (...) + \gamma (...) With no starting point?
  13. D

    leehuan's All-Levels-Of-Maths SOS thread

How can you tell the difference between a line and a plane when its in parametric form vs when its in Cartesian form?

    Marriage equality

Have you been in a situation where you almost died to make this claim that you don't want to live forever? Who's it harming? Technically Jill wants to die so its not really harming her its giving her a blessing? But why don't they? You'll be making two people happy rather than none? Isn't...

    Marriage equality

Let's say a person named John loves killing. He can't get enough of it and craves the action. Another person let's say Jill wants to die because she doesn't feel as though she wants to live. If John kills Jill is this considered murder? It's not affecting me, It's making both John and Jill happy...

    Marriage equality

Let's put that to one side first. Of course death is a blessing, I agree with you and can give reasons why it is a blessing upon request but you can't just kill someone if they start suffering... If people with atheistic views believe that there is nothing after you die they would naturally...
